Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has revealed that his desire in going back to the Premier League has lessened and he is willing to explore a new contract with Bayern Munich.
The prolific striker is presently two years through the four-year contract he agreed to when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for £86.4m in the offseason of 2023.
The veteran forward has accumulated an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German club, playing a key role in them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which marked the maiden significant honor of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would like to see Kane go back to England, where he requires 48 goals to surpass Alan Shearer's historic Premier League scoring feat of 260.
However, the England leader has now clarified that he is no longer as eager about going back home as he earlier was, and would certainly think about lengthening his time in Bavaria.
"In terms of remaining longer, I could definitely see that," he commented.
"I spoke openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those conversations with Bayern yet, but if they were to occur I would be prepared to talk and have an frank conversation.
"Obviously it hinges on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a fantastic moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had inquired me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have realized in my career is that different chances and different moments happen and things work out. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am totally all in with Bayern."
Historic Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the historic top marksman for both Tottenham and England and recently became the fastest player this century to reach 100 goals for a club participating in one of Europe's top five leagues, securing the landmark in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a trophy had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane states that he was not sure how he would respond after breaking his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he continued.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've proven that this year.
"I was curious in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to achieve in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, eating even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
